Question
So, I am my father's daughter and I really don't like dry food. Although I really don't go to the extreme he goes to, I do use mayo on things like sandwiches, hamburgers, etc. Knowing it's not so great for you and adds extra calories, I was wondering if there is anything else that would moisten but be a little more healthy. What do you use? Are there any tasty, healthier alternatives, or should I just go get me some "light" mayo and call it good?

Dijonnaise might be the perfect thing you for you. It's a mix of mayo and mustard, less than 1 gram of fat per Tbsp. and it's still creamy. A lot of people use greek yogurt, never tried it, but it would still be creamy. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I've heard of that before. Is it something I can make myself, or would it be best to buy it? It sounds good! :)
ReplyDeleteBuy it, there are so many cool dressings and spreads available now. I like the brand called "Best Foods." I'm sure winco, albies or walmart would carry it.
ReplyDeleteVegenaise! It is so yummy. Its made from grapseed oil. Its egg free & dairy free. I find it in healthfood stores. It more expensive but tastes so good and is healthy. This link is the one I get but I'm sure the other flavors are good too. http://www.followyourheart.com/products.php?id=20

Oh! Thanks, Salena! I'm on a mission to find that! Fabulous!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I'm planning on taking pictures at next week's measuring. That will be roughly a month into this journey. :)
